The Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing（www.iicpechino.esteri.it）has been founded in 1986. Located inside the compound of Italian Embassy in Sanlitun Dong Er Jie, Beijing, it has a multi-functional hall where a number of cultural activities are regularly organized. Since its beginnings, the Institute has been playing an active role in the promotion of the general knowledge of Italy and, in particular, of the understanding and appreciation of the Italian culture in China. The Institute has two principal scopes of action: education and cultural activities.
