He studied film at Gwent College of Higher Education in Wales from 1991-93 and then BA (Hons) Fine Art at the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff from 1995-97. Since graduating, he has worked predominately with digital video, creating work that has been screened at festivals and artist events in Britain and abroad. Alexandra Dementieva’s main interest is application of social psychology and perception in multimedia interactive installations. In 1984 he founded “L’Immagine”, the production company for which he has produced and realized about 60 documentaries, mainly broadcasted by the RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana, and other European channels. Since 2004 I am in the MFA „Interface Culture“ program of the University of Art and Design, Linz, Austria. 2002 I started working in the field of photography and media art / media technology. My mediaart deals with the human-machine interaction and the investigation of cultural and social possibilities of implementing them. |
